Spend your holiday at Doktorsee in the beautiful Weserbergland region and enjoy a wonderful time camping or staying in our comfortable holiday homes. Whether directly on the water, near the beach, or by the nature reserve – the spacious camping pitches around the lake offer electricity as well as fresh water, wastewater, and satellite connections in selected areas. Well-maintained sanitary facilities, including accessible rooms, are located near each pitch.
The recreation area offers a wide range of leisure activities: a large beach with a water slide and water trampolines, a large sunbathing lawn, pedal boats and stand-up paddleboarding, adventure mini-golf, several playgrounds, a mud play area, a multi-sports field, a sauna complex with a floating lake sauna, various events during the summer months – such as "Doktorsee in Flames" with its spectacular fireworks display and the classic car rally at the lake in early August – diverse dining options, and much more. Dogs are also very welcome at Doktorsee and can romp around in the dog park and cool off in our dog showers.
